Luke 12:16-21
Jesus spoke a parable to the crowd:
The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully.
The rich man (thought within himself): What shall I do, because I have no room in which to store my crops?
This is what I will do: I will pull down my barns and build greater ones; and I will store all my fruits and my goods in them.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take your ease and eat, drink, and be merry.
God (to the rich man): You fool, tonight your soul will be required of you:
then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?
So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
